We have seen many exotic cars turned into shooting brakes through the magic of rendering, but if we’re honest most of them didn’t even make sense. In some ways this BMW i8 Shooting Brake doesn’t make much sense, either. But it looks so damn hot, we just don’t care!
I mean, who would look something that looks so cool and not like it? Designed by Rain Prisk Designs, BMW i8 Shooting Brake shows you what a practical hatchback version of the hybrid sports car would look like — if such a thing existed, which it doesn’t, not even in the mind of BMW designers.
Even if you don’t like the very idea of a BMW i8 Shooting Brake, what Prisk guys have done with the i8’s fenders and side sills, and that sweet ride height, can give you a lot of ideas how to go about upgrading the standard version. Personally, we think the shooting brake part is dope, but we’re not sure about the roof box.
At any rate, this is a fantastic idea which is expertly executed. Kudos to Rain Prisk Designs for a job well done. We will be hearing more from these guys in the future.
