Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops Takes SEMA by Storm

Chevrolet has brought many different pickup truck concepts to this year’s SEMA, but one has captured our imagination more than the others by bringing a bit of shock and awe to the show. Inspired by U.S. military’s Special Forces, Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops could well be the coolest vehicle of the entire event.

Based on the Silverado 1500 Z71, Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops comes with a special camo paint called Razzle Dazzle. It developed more than 100 years ago to disguise a ship’s speed, direction and profile to the enemy’s eye. That is not going to be the case with the truck though, since its front and rear end are perfectly distinguishable.

Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops also boasts a full host of Chevy accessories you can buy for your ordinary Silverado truck. The list includes Black bowtie emblems, Underbody shield, Sport bar, LED off-road lights, Wheel flares, 20-inch aluminum wheels with off-road tires, Custom rocker guards, GearOn tiered storage system, GearOn utility rack package, GearOn cargo tie-down rings, Floor liners, Spray-in bedliner (production option), and Embroidered headrests with the Special Ops logo.

Inside the cabin the military-inspired truck comes with bright Ejector Orange color on the door pulls and glove box handle, waterproof covers for the seats and the waterproof liners for the floor, and instrument panel and armrests finished in the Razzle Dazzle camo paint scheme.
