As if the standard C4 Cactus was not unique enough, at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show Citroen will reveal a special edition version of the car with even more wonderful little details. The Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl comes with new styling features along with Grip Control for improved traction.

So it is fair to say Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl is now a crossover in more than just the name. You can actually drive the car on some semi-rough terrain, as shown in the official preview photos. That’s where the Rip Curl connection comes as the name of the Australian brand lends credibility to the car’s claims.

Available in PureTech 110 S&S manual and BlueHDi 100 manual guises, Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl Grip Control drive mode feature with an off-road mode in addition to standard, sand, snow, and off settings. It basically manipulates the vehicle’s ESP system to depending on the surface you’re driving on, mimicking to some extent a limited-slip differential. The off-road mode is helped by Goodyear Mud & Snow tires.

As for the new styling details, Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl comes with white door mirrors, white roof-bars and a white vertical strip on the wings, front and rear aluminium-coloured protection plates, optional colors for the Airbump panels, and new interior colors. Notable equipment includes automatic climate control, automatic headlamps and front wipers, navigation system and panoramic glass roof.
