Volkswagen has released a trio of official renderings previewing an all-new version of their Amarok pick-up truck prior to the vehicle’s debut later this year. The new VW Amarok comes with reworked ‘inner values,’ whatever that means.
By inner values Volkswagen probably means the truck’s features and equipment as it is poised to graduate from a lowly commercial vehicle into the premium pick-up market. Adding premium features to the rough and tumble character VW Amarok sounds like a helluva recipe at least on paper.
While details of the 2017 VW Amarok are yet to be released, German auto maker can tell you the new vehicle is 5.25 meter long and comes with a “more athletic front and,” “Round contours,” a “modified instrument panel.” What we see in the renderings shows a taller, more muscular which seems very off-road ready, but VW is adamant none of the truck’s excellent on-road abilities are lost in the new model.
