This year’s Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este was chockfull of some amazing cars, from high-end exotics to hugely interesting concepts. It is natural then that a car as important and as striking as this Baby Blue Aston Martin DB11 should get obscured in the background.

Now that the dust is starting to settle on the event we can look back and examine this unique machine closely, see if this special color reveals things in the car’s design we had missed prior to this. On the surface the Baby Blue Aston Martin DB11 seems like an absolute doll. Nothing to complain about.

In fact, if you compare this Baby Blue Aston Martin DB11 to the orange one we’ve been seeing here and there for the past couple of months, this color seems to be a doing better job of concealing some of the DB11’s peculiarities and help the good features to pop even more and look more prominent. It’s a great color for the Aston.

That said, we can’t wait to see the DB11 is a dark and serious color like black or gunmetal grey. We reckon this spaceship-like car looks its best in a darker shade.
