As you may know, Hamann has a process for upgrading every new German car they choose to work on. First they release a render of what they have in mind, then as they’e working on the thing they show standard model with their wheels, and finally we get the finished product. We saw the render of Hamann BMW M2 a long time ago, and now it’s wheel time.

So in this preview we get to see Hamann BMW M2 sporting a set of 20 inch ANNIVERSARY EVO rims which look really classy, but in our opinion a bit too luxurious for the car’s character. The M2 is a little sports car built for fun and games. It’s the automotive equivalent of a terrier. You don’t put a terrier in a Parada bag, do you? It won’t end well for the bag or the dog.

As for what you can expect to see on Hamann BMW M2 in due time, an aero kit wouldn’t be too much to ask, maybe made of carbon fiber with a nice front splitter and a big but not ridiculous rear wing. We would also like flared arches and some side skirts. Lowered suspension definitely would be nice, and maybe some interior mods. But above all we want a performance upgrade with well over 400 horsepower. That ought to give all the M3/M4 owners a proper headache!
