We haven’t stopped yet admiring Novitec’s take on the hard-top Ferrari 488, but the Italian tuner has already come up with the open-top version and, well, there is no denying that this one is a lot more awesome. Novitec Rosso Ferrari 488 Spider has pretty much the same specs as the coupe, but the Spiderness makes it a much more appealing proposition.
Maybe it’s just us, but the carbon fiber aero kit, which is identical to that of the coupe, just looks better on the Novitec Rosso Ferrari 488 Spider. You get a front spoiler lip that sits on the stock bumper and gives it more girth, fairly prominent side skirts, a substantially revised rear diffuser, and a neat and clean boot lid spoiler which on the Spider version complements the engine cover very nicely.
Other highlights of Novitec Rosso Ferrari 488 Spider upgrade package, as with the hard-top model, include a power kit that adds 86 horsepower to the output of the turbo engine and gives the car a top speed of 342 km/h, a bespoke exhaust system made of Inconel or stainless steel, and Novitec lightweight wheels, preferably in black. You can also order stripes and even a larger rear wing, but we think the car is just perfect in the specs depicted here in these photos.
