We usually don’t expect to see much else from German firm Mcchip-DKR than chip tuning. But in recent years they have transformed themselves into a fully-fledged tuner whose capabilities go way beyond coding ECUs. This Mcchip-DKR BMW M2 here features the tuner’s tailored Stage 3 kit and it is one of the sickest F87s out there.
Packing Mcchip-modified turbochargers, a downpipe with 200 cells cat, an appropriately coordinated ECU software, Mcchip-DKR BMW M2’s 3.0 liter TwinPower turbo engine now develops an impressive 445 hp and 600 Nm. That, if you have forgotten the standard power figures of the M2, is a gain of 75 hp and 135 Nm. And that makes the M2 even more sprightly than before.
We have a feeling this performance package will become the standard engine upgrade for BMW M2, even for other tuners. So they would modify the body and interior, and then send the car to Mcchip-DKR for a boost in output. The Stage 3 kit for Mcchip-DKR BMW M2 costs 8,090 Euros, but if you spend a little but more and get the DKR-recommended Lightweight Performance intercooler as well, you can have 450 hp and 690 Nm. It’s a no brainer, really. Obviously you want that.
