And the thing doesn’t look particularly exciting, either.

What’s more, the E-Coupe is the spiritual successor to the old CLK-Class, so the fans of that model could potentially be interested in the new model. Speaking of features, the old trim level classification of Sport, Elegance and Avantgarde has given its place to “Classic,” “Sport” and “Progressive,” with the standard kit on all models including central 12.3-inch high-resolution COMAND display and an optional 12.3-inch widescreen instrument cluster, turbine-look air vents, touch Control Buttons on the steering wheel, and a touch pad on the center console, plus direct-access buttons for controlling the air conditioning. Besides the regular four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines for the 2018 Mercedes E-Class Coupe you also get the new E400 variant in both normal and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive, powered by a 330 horsepower 3.0L V6 biturbo engine. It comes with a 9G- TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission for efficiency and an optional AMG Sport Package that changes the whole styling of the car and gives it a more sporty and purposeful look.
