Honda is aiming directly the 2010 Toyota Prius with this new Insight. The car has similar statics to Prius and is powered by a hybrid system containing a 1.3 liter petrol engine with 88hp and 123 Nm of torque along with a 14hp and 103 Nm electro motor which results in consumption of  4.4 liter per 100km.  2009 Honda Insight looks a bit cooler than the Toyota Prius and with similar specs it can be a serious threat to the Prius. The car is priced at around $30,000 for US market.
