First of all, don’t get it twisted with S63 or S65 AMG! This new AMG Sport Package is a kinda bodykit for all the non-AMG S-Class and CL-Class, for those who don’t need the AMG power, but desire its fantastic style! In fact those who can’t afford a real AMG!
In this package, the bumpers are revised to look like the AMG cars, but an AMG enthusisat can easily tell the differences. Specially at the back end, where you get single stainless steel pipes instead of chrome twin exhausts, of course the rear apron is bespoke for these cars.
Other options are the 19 inch AMG wheels with fatter tires, 20 available at extra cost. As mentioned earlier, the engine in these cars are standard so you won’t get extra power, nevertheless AMG gives you an enhanced braking system with the package. And in the cabin, you’ll get sporty pedals and steering wheel along with new leather and wood trimmings.
The AMG Sport Package for W221 S-Class and CL-Class costs between 5831 Euros and 7973 Euros. But you have to get a real AMG if you can, because if you experience the feel of an AMG V8 engine, you’ll never think of anything else!
