A new BMW M3 rivaling hot Audi coupe is on the way for 2010 and it’s been recently scooped testing at the Nurburgring. The first and most important thing you notice from these pictures is the retractable rear spoiler like those on sports cars, which can be considered as a sign of its huge power! It must be so fast that it needs a spoiler to keep it in check when needed.

It will be powerful but Audi’s V10 engine for the RS5 seems like a tall order, a tricked out version of the S5’s current V8 is much more realistic. As for the gearbox however, Audi’s dual clutch S-tronic is for sure.

The car features usual RS styling cues like big air intakes, sporty radiator grille,  lower suspension and big wheels. The 2010 Audi RS5 is expected to be revealed at next year’s Geneva Autoshow.
