For Hennessey, it’s never enough! Their latest tuning package for 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, the HPE550 was pretty pretty hot with 562 hp. But it somehow didn’t phase them enough so they’ve tried to mount a bigger engine in it! And what engine better than Corvette ZR1’s V8 LS9 carat which is the finest GM has ever built.
And they have also fiddled with it so in the Camaro it develops 705 hp and a whopping 717 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey says they will only offer 24 HPE700 packages and each for $39,500 and That’s not included the initial 2010 Chevy Camaro!
So with the LS9 engine and 705 hp you might think it’s the best Hennessey has to offer, but you are wrong! Becasue they are working on a 1000hp twin-turbo version of the car. That will be quit expensive but still the most affordable 1000hp car you can buy! Like I said, it’s never enough!
