Our favourite artist Jon Sibal has been quit busy these days! We recently featured his drop-top Bentley Supersports, and now he has come up with the next BMW 5-Series sedan. Ought to be previewed in late 2009, the new generation of 5er has already been caught by spy photographers many times, and based on the known facts it will feature a whole new shape, partially affected by the new 5-series GT, not a bit like the current model with those crazy eyes!

The 2010 5-series will be released in 2010 and will be available with four, six and eight cylinder engines, but it won’t come with the V10 as BMW is dropping it in favour of a more efficient turbocharged V8. The car will also be more spacious than the current model and will get a new eight-speed gearbox, and new on-trend features like start-stop system.

As usual, an estate version of the car will follow in a year or so, and a hot M5 model will also be released sometime around 2012.
