BMW announced the MSRP for the new 5-Series GranTurismo model which will go on sale in the U.S. this December. The model hitting the showroom floors is the 550i equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine developing 400 horsepower and peak torque of 450 lb-ft. It’s coupled to BMW’s 8-speed automatic transmission which is also used in the V12 760 models. 2010 BMW 550i GT starts from $64,725, including $825 Destination & Handling.

There is a wide range of optional extras and packages you can order for the car, but most of them are quit pricy! In fact a fully loaded 550i can cost up to 100 grand! worth it?!
