Dacia, the Romanian-based company of Renault that specializes in economy cars, revealed their Duster Competition model to enter France’s Trophee Andros ice-racing series. The Duster will be driven by France’s best driver Alain Prost. The company says that this tough test will give Dacia a chance to showcase the fact that robustness forms an integral part of the brand’s DNA!

The Duster ice racer is equipped with a specially developed 3.0 liter V6 with 350hp at 7,500rpm and 360Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Obviously it has a 4×4 limited slip differential linked to a 6-speed SADEV sequential gearbox, and also a four-wheel-steering, a must for this type of racing cars.
