A six-speed manual gearbox is standard. The car also features electronic differential lock, off-road ABS, Hill Descent and Hill Hold Assist.
The Amarok is 5.2 meters long and ha s a cargo area which is 1,555 mm long and 1,620 mm wide, and can be loaded up to 1.5 tons. It also can tow stuff as heavy as 2.8 tons!
With the Amarok, VW is going to enter a new market, but it seems to have all the basis covered to become a successful player!
