BMW 3.0 liter six-cylinder inline turbocharged engine is really a masterpiece of engineering, and they want to make the most of it by putting it in as many models as they can! The latest is the 1-Series, which will get it in 135i Coupe model for 2011. So it’s guaranteed to be a pocket rocket, we just hope they make some changes to the car’s appearance as well. If only!

Of course the version of this engine which goes into the 1-Coupe won’t be a full fat one. It’ll have one turbochargers rather than the usual two, but still it will develop around 300 hp and 300 nm of torque, fairly enough in a car the size of a shoe! Another good news is that BMW will also offer its new 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox for this car an as optional extra. The standard 135i will be fitted with a six-speed manual.

So with that engine and the clever gearbox, this car will be literally a mini M3. However as it’s the case with BMWs, it won’t come at a reasonable price, oh no! If you are interested in this car, then be prepared for a hefty price tag.
