Just like the new BMW Z4 equipped with the new turbo-six engine which gets an ‘is’ variant, the recently revealed 2011 3-series will get the treatment. The BMW 335is will reportedly come with a tweaked version of the N55 engine which is a bit more powerful than the standard with 322 hp 332 lb-ft of torque. That would give the car a sub 5 second 0-100 km/h acceleration time.
As for the transmission you’ll have the choice to pick either a six-speed manual or the sophisticated dual-clutch 7-speed auto.
335is also gets a M-Sport body kit with modified front and rear bumpers inspired by the M3, spoiler lip, a rear diffuser, 18-inch wheels and a new exhaust system.
The official pictures and details of the 2011 BMW 335is is expected to be revealed pretty soon, stay tuned!
