Video: Lingenfelter ZR1 9 second quarter-mile

I remember in the past decade, Lingenfelter-tuned Corvettes were among the fastest cars in the world. Now though, they seem to be overshadowed by power-crazed German tuners. But turns out they can still cut it, pretty damn well! To prove their expertise, they recently took one of their 739 hp modified Corvette ZR1s to Maryland International Raceway and managed to set a quarter-mile time of 9 seconds! Just for comparison, Bugatti Veyron does it is in 10.2 seconds!

Lingenfelter ZR1 modifications:

– Lingenfelter cast aluminum supercharger air intake snout
– Lingenfelter 8.5? diameter harmonic balancer – 11 rib
