With every new car Honda makes, their in-house tuning center Mugen release a sporty body kit and a number of accessories. Now they announced their plans for the new CR-Z hybrid, and it includes visual upgrades, new wheels, tweaked suspension and brakes. But they offer no performance enhancement, and that’s what the 122hp CR-Z desperately needs!
Mugen has tried to increase the CR-Z’s appeal by adding a few extra parts like a new grille, revised bumpers, sporty side skirts, a huge roof spoiler and a big rear diffuser. They also offer sport springs plus adjustable dampers lowering the car by almost 20mm, and a new set of 17-inch light alloys which can be had in different colors.
And hat;s about it for now! However Honda is working on a Type-R version of the CR-Z, so if you want one of these you are advised to wait for that model, as it also comes with more power.
