2011 Cadillac CTS V Sport Wagon 1 at Cadillac CTS V Sport Wagon Announced

Just in time for 2010 New York Auto Show Cadillac released details of the Sport Wagon variant of the CTS-V high performance model which will join the sedan and coupe. And as usual Cadillac is very lazy with the camera and gives us just a few images! There’s not much to see anyway, because it has the same familiar face as the rest of the range.

With cars like this, it’s the performance that matters the most. And the CTS-V wagon doesn’t disappoint with its awesome 556 horsepower (415 kW) 6.2 liter supercharge V8 engine which also develops 747 Nm (551lb.-ft) of torque.

Using a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual or a dual-disc clutch and a Hydra-Matic 6L90 six-speed automatic with steering wheel-mounted shift controls transmission, this car is fast enough to rival Mercedes E63 Estate, Audi RS6 Avant and BMW M5 Touring. It comes with sport suspension, 19-inch alloys with performance tires and high power braking system.

But since it’s a station wagon, the cargo capacity also is an important feature. 25.4 cubic feet (720 liters) of space behind the rear seats and 58 cubic feet (1,644 liters) with the seats folded. So this lovely Caddy is also at doing family things!
