The new hybrid variant of Lotus Evora is unwrapped at the Geneva Motor Show and therefore its official picture and details are no accessible! Covered in a special Copper paint job garnished with electric circuits graphics, the Evora Hybrid features a sophisticated drivetrain that develops 414 hp, hence the name.

This highly efficient, high performance drivetrain system consisting of twin motors each limited to providing 152 kW (207 PS/204 hp) of power and 400 Nm (295 lbft) of torque to each wheel via independent, single speed, reduction transmissions integrated into a single housing, enabling torque vectoring dynamic control of the vehicle.

This car can cover a distance of 35 miles on pure electric mode and an be charged overnight using a conventional domestic mains supply through a socket concealed by the rear number plate.

This being a hybrid does not mean that any of the Lotusyness of it has been lost! In fact because it’s become more powerful it’s more fun to drive, and it comes with all of the technical features of the petrol powered model. Lotus and Harman International have also developed an engine sound system for it which can make V6 and V12 noises!
