Lexus LF-A supercar has been in the works for over nine years and during this time it took part in the Nurburgring 24 Hours race a number of times. But in all of them, because it was a prototype, it was heavily disguised. Now though they are coming back for the 2010 race showing off the car in its full glory! The racing version of the LF-A is specially prepared for the track.

The car is powered by the same 552 hp V10 engine as in the road-going version but the body is stripped out and the aerodynamics is significantly improved so the it can handle extreme conditions of the Green Hell. It comes with bigger air intakes, a modified bonnet modified bumpers and a big racing spoiler at the back.

Two racing LF-As will be prepared by Gazoo Racing team and will be driven by Toyota master test driver Hiromu Naruse, and a team of four Japanese and three German drivers.

The LF-A can do 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach top speed of over 320 km/h.
