To be brutally honest, BMW 1-Series is an overpriced, ugly, and crammy little car with no space in the back for people with legs and a face that only a mother could love! BUT, it comes with a BMW badge, and for most people that is enough reason to buy it. So it’s no wonder they recently sold the one millionth unit.

Handed over to a local customer at the Leipzig motorshow, the milestone car is a a three-door BMW 118d, which is also made in Leipzig. In fact, more than 336,000 units of the 1-Series have been sold in Germany since its launch in 2005.
