Based on these brochure images leaked out of Bavaria, BMW will offer a M-Sport Package for the 2011 5-Series, both sedan and touring. Maybe they have realized the new 5er is a bit too conservative and trying to liven things up a bit! The old gen was too wild and crazy, and this one is too calm and peaceful. They can’t stay in the middle!
The kit includes M-style bumpers and wheels on the outside, but to keep it apart from the actual M5 it has only two tailpipes instead of four, smaller wheels, and no side gills.
Inside, You get M-steering wheel, aluminum pedals and accents, anthracite headliner and special leather upholstery. The M-Sport pack is strictly visual and does not affect the performance.
