Aston Martin DB5 is one of the rarest and most valuable classic cars, let alone its super-rare convertible version. Only 123 units of this beautiful car has ever been made and one of them is now up for grabs by Historics at Brooklands auction on the afternoon of September 25th. The car is a brilliant white with red interior and factory-fitted hardtop (only a few had this option) and 100,000 miles on the odo.
The DB5 Convertible chassis number DB5C/1275/R also had two engine rebuilds, in 1975 and 1986. The car had a MSRP of £4,562 when it was launch, but now the minimum price it can fetch is £450,000! A while ago a 1965 black DB5 Convertible was sold by Bonhams for $5.6 million.
