smart has come up with yet another special edition, this time its the fortwo which gets a new treatment. This one’s called the ICE edition, and follows the same recipe as all the previous special editions. It comes with a few garnish for the body, some extra equipments, and a bigger price tag!
On the outside the new smart features a unique deep black paint job, and black carbon fiber finish safety cell, plus 15-inch BRABUS Monoblock VII alloy wheels and panoramic roof.
The cabin too is upgraded with with black leather heated seats, leather optic upper dashboard and 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel with steering wheel gear shift, and you get a lockable glove compartment, air conditioning, electric windows and dashboard-mounted clock and rev counter as standard.
But the main highlight of the new model is the AVIC-F920BT Navgate package fro Pioneer, which features a two-way speaker system and active subwoofer, iPod, iPhone or MP3 player integrity, and a user-friendly touch-screen display for scrolling through music. Owners can use the system’s ECO Graph package to analyse their driving performance too. It reveals how efficiently and economically they are driving by displaying the smart’s fuel usage as well as its CO2 emissions.
smart fortwo ICE edition is limited to 200 units, 140 of which micro hybrid drive petrol versions priced from £10,495, and 60 diesel models starting form £11,245.
