As it’s the case with most of the new cars, the first round of the all-new Mercedes CLS 2011 are leaked to the interweb, from what appears to be the car’s official brochure. Of course w are already familiar with the new CLS as we’ve seen it through many spyshots recently. More than that Mercedes themselves have given a preview of this car through the Shooting Brake Concept. But for the full unveiling you have wait for the Paris Motor Show in September.
On the surface, the 2011 Mercedes CLS seem to have gained a few pounds over the previous model. It looks chunkier and more muscular, but still maintains its party piece which is indeed the amazing coupe shape and pillar-less doors. The front headlamps are nowhere near as insane as the old model, but instead the rear lights are! With that design and LED lights they really look like an alien’s eyes.
Usually car manufacturers disappoint the fans when they come up with a new version of a hit model, but Mercedes with the new CLS proved that it’s possible to improve on perfection! Yes, it’s not as outlandish as the first gen but it’s become more elegant and classy.
