There are enough upgrades packages around for the V8 powered Camaros, so for their Red Line Series project Hurst Performance decided to modify the V6 version of the muscle car. They have collaborated with BFGoodrich, who has provided Radial T/A Spec Redline Edition tires for this car to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Radial T/A line.
Hurst Camaro V6 Turbo features a very nice and sporty design with Hurst AIR-SPEED rear deck spoiler and specially designed five-spoke 18” Hurst T1 alloy wheels, as well as a very cool paint job. It also comes with HARD-Drive “Pistol Grip” Shifters inside the car plus Hurst/Katzkin leather seating finished with contrast stitching and embroidered Hurst logos, a real metal sequentially numbered interior dash plaque and logo-embroidered floor mats.
It also gets Hurst/Detroit Speed coil-over suspension, sway bars and special BFGoodrich Radial T/A Spec Redline Edition rubber. An optional gauge package is available and includes boost and exhaust temperature gauges.
As for the engine, Hurst says thanks to the new STS turbocharger which is mounted in the rear of the car to the Hurst Modified exhaust system, the car generates 50 percent more power than standard 300 hp V6, so it should have around 450 hp, while returning 30 percent better fuel economy than the standard V8 models.
Hurst Camaro V6 is limited to 50 units per year. It’s one of the best tuned Camaros we’ve seen so far.
