BMW released a new driving footage of the upcoming 1 Series M Coupe, still as a prototype, flexing muscle at Ascari track in Spain. To be revealed at next Detroit Motor Show, the new 1er M will be powered by the 135i, which is a twin-charged 3.0 liter straight-six, but it comes with a different ECU map and new exhausts to develop around 350 hp. It also sounds very very nice. In fact this car’s ingredients are stacking up to make a wonderful machine: compact size, powerful engine, amazing noise, BMW badge, and… We just wish it looked a bit better than that.
