Special editions of BMW M3 keep coming! They’ve done one for America, one for Japan, one for China, and now here’s the Australians own version of the M3 called the Pure Edition. Actually it makes sense for BMW to make these models, because after all they are not that different than standard M3. They just enhance it a bit and put it on sale with a fatter price tag, and people will buy them because they are “Limited Edition”.

BMW M3 Pure Edition is also limited, to 100 units – 50 sedan and 50 coupe – and is said to be specifically tailored for Australian drivers. Didn’t know they are different than other drives around the world! Anyhow it comes a number of exclusive visual features such as blacked-out kidney grille, black bonnet air intakes, while the side vents and the exhaust tips are done in dark chrome.

The car also gets 19-inch M Double-spoke light alloy wheel as standard which obviously are painted in black, and wrapped in 245/35 R19 tyres at front and 265/35 R 19 tyres at the rear.

Inside the M3 Pure is garnished with Anthracite cloth and black leather sports seats, with headrests sporting an embossed BMW M logo. As for the engine and performance, this model is the same as standard which means you get a 420 hp high-revving V8.

Pricing for this special edition will be between 135,000 and 148,300 AUD, when it becomes available early next year.
