America’s answer to BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG Station Wagon, which is of course the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon, can now be ordered for as low as $62,990. I know that is not exactly cheap, but considering the amount of car you get and the price of its German rivals, you have to say, it seems to be great value for money. And it has an exquisite design which is very cool.
The car has a massive supercharged 6.2L V-8 delivering 556 horsepower (415 kW) and 551 lb.-ft of torque (747 Nm) which can be had with either a standard six-speed manual, or a six-speed automatic transmission. It does zero to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds, which is amazing.
Other high-performance features include standard Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch forged-aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. As for the practicality, you get a boot which can accommodate up to 58 cubic-feet of cargo.
“The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is a limited production offering for connoisseurs who are interested in the unique combination of V-Series performance with wagon style and capability,” said Don Butler, vice president, Cadillac marketing.
