Mitsubishi announced its lineup for the Los Angeles Auto Show and besides the Outlander Sport compact CUV their other premiere i-MiEV new-generation electric vehicle. The American version of this small urban commuter has some differences over the Japanese and European version, chief among which is the enhanced, enlarged body.
That does not change the fact the i-MiEV is a tiny car! But it’s nearly 30cm longer and 11cm wider than the Japanese version. n addition, the North American-spec i-MiEV’s front and rear bumpers are all-new. Airbags that detect passengers and control deployment force, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Active Stability Control (ASC) are all standard equipment.
