BMW has not confirmed this yet, but sources are reporting the new 1 series M Coupe has been round the Nurburgring and it has managed to set a lap time of 8 minutes and 12 seconds. Now that’s faster than the old E46 M3, but slower than the E46 CSL model. Also in its class it is slower than Porsche Cayman S and Audi TT-RS. But you know what, we couldn’t care less! The BMW looks like a lot more fun than both those cars and it’s considerably less expensive as well. The Nurburgring record is for posers to impress their friends down at the pub!
