Novitec Rosso keeps working on the Ferrari California and every now and again they release a new version of their their car which they have improved significantly. Here’s the latest Fezza Cali by NR, called the Race 606.

As the name of the car gives a clue, this model has 606 hp generated by a supercharged V8 backed by high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts and optimised electronic controlling unit. The compressor system consists of a mechanical supercharger driven by the crankshaft via a cogged V-belt. It produces a maximum boost pressure of 0.4 bar. The conversion also includes a water-to-air intercooler, a newly designed intake manifold and larger injectors.

This engine covers Euro 5 emissions standards.

More important than that, with 606 hp / 446 kW and 603 Nm of torque at the tap, it takes the car from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and gives it a top speed of 325 km/h.

To cope with the added power and speed, Novitec also provides a carefully engineered aerodynamic package that further reduce lift on front and rear axle and thus contribute to further optimized directional stability at high speed. The matte clear-coated carbon-fiber package consists of front and rear spoilers together with the rear diffuser, rocker panel blades, side air outlets in the front fenders, mirror covers and the rear molding.

The most striking feature of the exterior however, is the matte carbon-fiber coated three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 wheels (size: 9Jx21 for the front and in size 11.5Jx22 for the rear – tires: PZero high-performance tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 21 and 315/25 ZR 22). Specifically calibrated to this tire/wheel combination are the NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs, which lower the ride height of the Ferrari by some 35 millimeters.

A bespoke interior package with items like scuff plates and longer paddle-shifters and better steering wheel, round up this fine tuning package.
