At this year’s Geneva Motor Show BMW will show a very close to production version of the ActiveE, which is the electric version of 1-Series Coupe, so it’s just about time for them to start promoting it. And they begin by this video which explains how the the ActiveE can be used as an everyday utility. They want to convince people that pure electric cars can handle day to day tasks like every other car and offer the same convenience. Well yes, right up to the moment that you run out of electricity where there’s no plugs! And then when you found a plug you have to wait a couple of hours before you get enough charge to go anywhere.
