The new Italian exotica Spada Vetture Sport Codatronca Monza is gearing up for its debut at the 2011 Top Marques Monaco, as the first pictures of it leaks on the web.
The Monza might look like a bit of a simpleton, but underneath the speedster body there’s quite an athlete. More suited for track days than supercar parades, the Codatronca Monza roadster features a carbon fiber body and is powered by a weapons-grade 7.0-liter V8 engine from Corvette Zo6 developing 700 PS. The best thing about it is the six-speed manual gearbox rather than paddle shifters.
Given the weight of just 1,200 kg, the Monza will super fast but predictably a bit tricky to handle. Official details and specs of the car will be revealed soon. The car will sport a price tag of around €250,000.
