MINI WRC Makes UK Debut At Cornbury Park

Cornbury Park MINI 1 at MINI WRC Makes UK Debut At Cornbury Park

Following its WRC debut in Italy at Rally Sardinia, MINI John Cooper Works WRC makes its British debut this weekend at the Cornbury Park Rally Show.

In its first official race in world rally championship the Countryman WRC finished sixth which is pretty good considering the fact that it was its first ever race and that it’s not participating fully as 2011 season is a sort of warm up for them.

In its UK debut, the team will take on the 1.1 mile stage at Cornbury Park giving the British fans their first chance to see the car that brings back MINI to world rallying after years of absence, close up as Dani Sordo hits them gears and make the car pumping and jumping! In 2011, the MINI WRC Team will compete at selected rounds of the WRC in order to prepare for the complete 2012 World Championship season.
