Hennessey Performance revealed details of their 1000-hp package for the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. The CTS-V1000 will be able to hit 230 mph top speed.
The exact power figures Hennessey claims are 1,000 bhp and 950 lb-ft torque. To get that much out of the car’s supercharged 6.2 liter V8 they’ve thrown almost all of it away and replaced most of the parts with bespoke, high performance ones.
Same thing applies to the chassis and suspension, as they are thoroughly upgraded to handle that colossal power. Not to mention brakes and wheels are also uprated.
Besides all the mechanical trickery, Hennessey has also designed a very cool body kit for the car that not only enhances the looks, it also improves aerodynamic efficiency, with a front spoiler, vented bonnet, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear wing. It really suits the looks of the CTS-V and give it a greater presence.
The tuner has also improved the interior with items like Alcantara and carbon fiber. Here’s the full list of modifications:
