Yesterday we told you about the European price of the new Mercedes M Class. Now it’s America’s turn to know about the pricing details of this luxury SUV.

In the United States of America, 2012 Mercedes ML is only offered with the 350 engine, but in two petrol and diesel formats. The ML350 BlueTEC diesel with 240 horsepower, 455 lb.-ft. of torque is priced at $51,365, while the ML350 4MATIC with its 302 hp, 273 lb.-ft V6 engine will start at $49,865.

The 2012 M-Class line also features a new transmission with a more advanced torque converter lock-up clutch that provides even better fuel mileage, more responsive driving, quieter operation and increased durability.

That’s what you need to know about the technicalities. When you end up in the showroom speccing up your car, you have to know about the options and their pricing. And the list is pretty darned long!
