Lotus is working on new variants of the Evora, one is a convertible variant, and one a high-performance 400bhp version.
The ultimate Evora will be inspired by the Racer Evora. It’ll be lighter and stiffer than the Evora S with a stripped-out cabin, focused on track duty. It will gt an upgraded version of the supercharged V6, originally from Toyota Camry, which as mentioned will make around 400bhp.
Other programs for the Evora, besides the hard-core and convertible models, including upgrading the cabin with higher quality materials, sportier exhausts, and a better gearbox. The Norfolk-based sportscar maker also has plans to launch the plug-in hybrid version of the car within two years.
