BMW announced some of new stuff they have in store for the 2012 6 Series F13. They include a new diesel engine, xDrive all-wheel-drive system and the M Sport package.
The M kit as usual includes new sporty bumpers, more muscular than the standard ones, but not as cool as the actual M6, new tailpipes, M-design alloy wheels in 19 or 20-inch size, and two new exterior colors, Carbon Black Metallic Imola Red, both pictured here. The interior of the 2012 6er M benefits from sport seats with blue stitching and M badges on Alcantara upholstery, M design steering wheel, floor mats and door sills.
As mentioned, the car will also get a new diesel engine. This 3.0 liter straight -six diesel, according to BMW, is the world’s sportiest six-cylinder diesel engine with 230 kW/313 hp output and BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. What’s more, BMW 6 Series models will be available with the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
All of the new features are available for both coupe and convertible variants. Pricing is yet to be announced though.
BMW M series grabs tremendous attention through its striking presence whereas the traditional cars of BMW hold boring looks. The Coupe stated above is I guess good for drag and sprint purposes. What you say?
