Audi apparently forgot to include this in the yesterday’s release of the Urban Concept. So here it is, the Audi Urban Concept Spyder.
It is basically the same 1+1 city car, only it has no roof. And that makes it look even more odd. The Spyder is whole lot more fun though. One may think the car features a cloth roof that slides into a sot of cubbyhole behind the seats. Audi has not revealed any details on it yet.
It should have the same drivetrain as the hardtop, which means two e-tron electric motors provide the propulsion – providing the ultra-light Audi urban concept with the ability to accelerate powerfully. A lithium-ion battery supplies the energy – ideal for extended city tours.
More on both cars at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
