The latest special edition of Citroen DS3, to be unveiled at the IAA 2011, is the DS3 ‘Ultra Prestige’.

And like all the other SE Citroens, the Ultra Prestige is obsessed with style and design. It comes with a ‘Monogramme’ décor which shifts contrast from matt to gloss as the light changes. It covers the roof with DS insignia.

This model is also fitted exclusively with 17-inch charcoal-grey diamond-effect wheels and a ‘Dark Chrome’ finish on the wing mirrors, door strips and front grille.

Inside the cabin, Citroen DS3 Ultra Prestige features made to order ‘watchstrap’ seat upholstery in club leather. The front seats sport a ‘crescendo’ effect – which blends gradually from white at the top to black at the base – that is entirely new to the automotive sector and inspired by fashion design.

The dashboard strip is covered in ‘Alpin Weiss’ white club leather, embossed with a DS logo that also features on the upper part of the front seats. Teh instrument panel is also the same white as the rest of the interior.

Other nice touches include club leather fitted on the door panels and central armrest, and ultra-thick protective mats, braided with double stitching in contrasting colours. It’s really like driving around in a fancy dress this car!
