Only a couple of days ago Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) was sitting in Top Gear studio, chatting with Jezza about his McLaren F1. Now news broke that Johnny English has crashed his million quid supercar.

Apparently the crash has been a bit severe, as the car spun and hit a tree. Atkinson picked up a minor shoulder injury and had to be admitted to a hospital. Fortunately, he is OK and is expected to be released from hospital today.

As for the car, reports say it’s caught fire as a result of the accident. So chances are it’s seriously damaged, if not wrecked. Mr. Atkinson’s maroon McLaren F1 is (or was!) one of the most unique versions of this ultra rare and super expensive hyper car.

Rowan has a new movie coming up, so he probably can buy another F1 after that! We wish him a speeding recovery.
