Romeo Ferraris Stardale is basically the road-legal version of their Abarth 500 race car. And it packs 300 hp!
The most astonishing bit is the fact that 300 hp has been extracted from a tiny 1.4 liter engine. How massive is the turbocharger on this thing we have no idea.
The car weighs near as makes no difference a 1000 kg, so the power to weight ratio is good. So good in fact that it can reach 250 km/h top speed.
The body of the Abarth 500 Stradale also has deep resemblance to the racing car. Save the rear spoiler, you get a vented bonnet, massively flared arches, aggressive front fascia, a racing ear diffuser and a pair of central tailpipes.
The interior also has a racy feel about it, with bucket seats, four-point harness, suede and aluminum accents.
No word on pricing yet, but the word is it can cost up to 80,000 euro. 80 grand for a 500!
