Volkswagen decided to add a little Joie de Vivre to its successful crossover, the Tiguan, by giving it the R-Line treatment.

The R-Line packs were designed for the dynamic ‘Sport & Style’ equipment version and includes exterior and interior upgrades.

On the outside, you get body-coloured side sills with ‘Matt chrome’ inserts and an R-Line roof edge spoiler as well as black textured rear diffuser, aluminium door sill plates with R-Line logo and another R-Line logo on the radiator grille, and as a signature, 19-inch ‘Mallory’ alloy wheels in ‘Sterling silver’ with 255/40 tyres.

The cost of the exterior kit is 2,460 euro.

Inside the cabin, R-Line Tiguans come with sport seats (front), ‘Kyalami’ style seat covers (front and rear) with lateral supports in ‘San Remo’ microfibre fabric (front), head restraints with integrated R-Line logo and a multifunction steering wheel with aluminium accents and R-Line badge. Additional interior pack components: a ‘Titan black’ roofliner and pedals with stainless steel caps. ‘Vienna’ leather upholstery (2,120 euros), also in ‘Titan black’, is available as an option.

Interior package costs 840 euro.

VW also offers some of the bits and pieces as separate options, such as rear spoiler (150 euros) and/or a ‘Titan black’ roofliner (180 euros).
