The recently announced BMW X3 xDrive28i is now have a price tag, and it reads $37,995.
This new version of the X3 is powered by the 2-litre, four-cylinder 180 kW/245 hp petrol engine found in the 328i sedan. It’s a great engine, offering possibly the best compromise possible between performance and economy. It kinda renders the diesel versions pointless.
Now if you like some facts and figures, the car has 240-hp and torque of 260 lb-ft (350Nm), which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. It averages 7.5 litres/100 km and has a CO2 emission level of 175 grams per kilometre.
The xDrive28i comes with an eight-speed automatic, auto start/stop system and Driving Dynamics Control with “COMFORT”, “SPORT” and “SPORT+” modes.
The MSRP includes a $895 destination charge.
