A new Citroen hot hatch based on the DS4, with ‘Racing’ badge, will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
The new DS4 Racing builds on the French company’s multi WRC winning expertise, and has the same recipe as the amazing DS3 Racing, with good looks, a powerful engine, and a bit of lunacy sprinkled on top. That’s what makes it so fabulous.
The DS4 Racing is powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine developing 256bhp and CO2 of just 155 g/km. To cope with the performance of the engine, Citroen has lowered the car by 35mm and widened the tack by 55mm at the front and 75mm at the rear.
These changes not only contribute to the car’s dynamics, they also enhance the style and give it a killer sporty look.
Further changes over the standard DS4 includes fixed four-piston callipers at the front together with special 380mm diameter discs, and 19-inch wheels and 235/40 tyres. The concept car is also finished in a unique textured-effect matt grey paint, and features a two-tone roof and two-tone wheels with a special DS4 Racing design.
This car is definitive hot hatch; good-looking, fast, practical, and freezingly cool. Looking forward to it.
